The Devil Wears Prada to Release 5th Studio CD

Ohio’s Christian metal band “The Devil Wears Prada” is set to release their 5th studio CD, “Dead & Alive” on Sept 17th. The CD was produced by Adam D of Killswitch Engage.  This is their follow up release to “Dead Throne“, which also saw the band reach their most commercially successful album to date. The Album reached #10 on the billboard charts and #1 on the indie charts. The band released one demo CD titled, “Patterns of a Horizon”. Their 1st studio CD, “Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord” (2006), was made up mostly of re-recording the songs off “Patterns of a Horizon”.

The bands name is based on what they thought was an anti-materialistic mindset and derived their name from a book of the same name. However, they later found out that the book does not feature that message. Having found this out, they decided to continue on using the name. The band felt this was giving the title, “The Devil Wears Prada”, a new meaning.
